Sobering Up? EU May Scrap Its Plans To Ban Internal Combustion Engines By 2035

Many EU countries have a string of national elections coming up that give the Eurocrats quite some headaches. There is hardly any EU country that does not feature an exit platform and people are rightfully pissed. It has become an unreformable monster and especially perceptions cannot be fixed anymore. When Austria joined the EU, I was part of the fans. When the Euro hit us I also was elated. It turns out I was naive. The bigger a structure becomes, the more unaccountable it becomes in turn. Only small structures have a chance of staying close to the citizen and that’s a defining mark of a good administration. The EU should be dissolved.
