Solar now ‘cheapest electricity in history’: How much will it matter?

I just posted on a wind turbine saying that as it needs backup power it will always be more expensive than conventional power. And here I stumble upon another hit piece claiming that solar is damn dirt cheap that it’s not worth metering. Really? Because if that is true, how is it that all regions, states, or countries that go big on wind and solar also have sky-high power rates? Logically, if this was really the cheapest form of energy and there is much of it, prices should be very low. They are not. And we are fools not to call them out on those lies.
