Solar-panel supplier’s links to alleged abuses in China imperil US climate goal

In the miraculous world of the virtue-signaling bubble-dwelling crowd, China has a magic wand that allows it to produce stuff much cheaper. Same thing for Russia and its oil and a good number of other countries we use to get the stuff we don’t want to produce at home. Back in reality we know that there is no magic wand and that production cost is the same just about anywhere. The only way to lower them significantly is by either paying people much less or nothing at all or by ditching any rules for protecting the environment or both. China can be the world manufacturer because it willingly throws its people and environment into the grinder. It lets us pose as green. But the magic wand is strong in many of us.
