Solar power could replace all US hydro dams using ‘just 13% of the space
They dump on the one renewable thing that saves their butts at least in part. Stored hydropower is one of the few ways how solar and wind power can be stored by pumping water from a lower reservoir to a higher one. Solar and wind rode for free on those services so far. Come on, kill hydro and everything else and watch how disgusted populations will rip your machinations apart. Politicians, go for this crap and face defeat.
