Stop telling kids that climate change will destroy their world
When I was a kid, the Cold War was an everyday reality. We watched movies such as “The Day After” and figuratively saw mushroom clouds behind every corner. We were really afraid. The accident in Tchernobyl made matters even worse as we developed an extremely unhealthy relationship with radiation. Acid rain also weighed on our minds and we saw a world without trees. Then there was the Ozone hole over Antarctica. We had our fair share of scares when I was a kid. they all have one thing in common – they were massively overdone. So is this one with the Climate.
