Sudden Optimism Over Israel/Hamas Conflict Causes Modest Decline In Oil Prices

The recent summit in Saudi Arabia brought interesting developments. In essence, the two peace neighbors Jordan and Egypt plus more or less the group of countries in the Abraham Accord group plus Saudi blocked the very negative condemnation and measures package that was proposed by the war hawks in the Arab camp. This means that those with money and clout want peace with Israel and throw Hamas under the bus. The Middle East is changing and some can see that change. Not everyone is happy about it but some are pragmatic. This might be over faster than we think.

But one analytical body worries that the conflict could lead to $140 oil.
