It’s already important that the legislature gets some of its power back. How so? Well, when the judiciary cannot be creative anymore, those who want to push ideological agendas cannot rely on judicial activism anymore. The court’s power in creating law was intended to fill in the blanks. It was not intended to deliver broad strokes along which society should coalesce. Thats the work of the legislator. Not the government or the executive in chief but the legislature. Oh and, politics only work on a low level. The capital is a snakepit by necessity.
