And there will be more where that came from. You can only stretch your grid’s capabilities thin so much before it becomes unreliable. The activists seem not to understand what the overcapacity was good for. It was for giving the grid the capability to deal with demand-side fluctuations. Now it’s all gobbled up by production side fluctuations so there is nothing left when the demand side fails. Wind and solar operators simply refused to foot the bill for grid improvement works even when it’s only them causing all the hubbub. Enjoy.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
