And it will happen more and more often. I am not condoning any of this, I actually very much condemn it as violence is not my tool of choice to resolve conflicts. But I was in traffic jams due to such action here in Vienna and when you are in a situation where your delay due to the jam carries a stiff consequence for you, it’s not hard to see why someone loses it. We need some consequences to happen for those activists when they are just being pests. Non-violent ones. Starting to strip them of anything that was produced using fossil energy would be a start. Make them walk the walk.
