Tanzania’s LNG hopes on a knife-edge
Tanzania has only itself to blame. They had not treated this as a project but rather as a get rich quick scheme. They could have closed that deal when the market was a lot friendlier. But they wanted the sky and a cherry on top and now they have nothing. This should serve as a lesson to other African countries. Odds are that it won’t.
