Teenager Thunberg angrily tells U.N. climate summit ‘you have stolen my dreams’
Just a few weeks ago I had my 50th birthday. Time to look back at my life and plan out the remainder. And as far back as it seems, I can vividly remember when I was 16 years old. I wanted to be an adventurer, a little bit like Indiana Jones. I was a stary eyed teenager and I had big plans. How much of those came to pass? A lot more than for the averages as I had to find out but it still falls far short of my dreams. Who stole my dreams? Who is responsible for all the things I could not realize? Easy answer – a look in the mirror suffices. How does a 16 years old girl even know what her dreams are? I found my best ones long after that age.
