Ten Fundamental Questions

Any green fundamentalist worth his mettle will shy away from those questions like the devil shuns holy water. Those are solid questions and they are also very fair. Anyone who asks us to destroy our welfare and our way of life willfully should be coming up with extraordinary evidence on why this is necessary. Not only has evidence been underwhelming, but it has been non-existent for pretty much all times in all domains. Now people are hurting, inflation makes their lives hard, very hard. This makes them receptive to reality. It’s easy to close your eyes to reality as long as life just functions – somehow. It does no more. Time to get answers. Receiving no answer is the most potent answer.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
