Texas grid asks residents to conserve power as heatwave hits
Driving the message that something is fundamentally wrong with the grid home. Because now the grid does not freeze up and they cant use excuses that Natural Gas pipelines have frozen. The more unreliable energy sources a grid must swallow, the more unstable it becomes. Texas seems to have reached critical mass. Now the grid needs massive investments to buffer the impact of wind and solar. Exposing the true cost of those energy sources.
