Yes, the energy crisis is already here. Or in fact, it has been here for some years now but so far, systems operators somehow cheated us through its worst effects with buying and selling of what one cannot cover anymore and also strategic load shedding. But now, the strain is too much for the entire system to still take it and now it behaves like a house of cards. Make no mistake – the alarmists don’t even have a sense of being wounded yet. Like any good snake oil seller, they up the ante. Giving in just a little bit makes the house of cards collapse completely.
