The BBC’s Fake News About Fracking
In my line of occupation, one is confronted with tons of ignorance and loads of false information. We are also exposed to massive amounts of lies and deception of the worst kind. But rarely do I stumble upon something that’s so thoroughly misrepresented as shale. I already assume that those who rally against shale have not the slightest bit of verifiable knowledge about it and I am always confirmed right. When I was a child, we had fracking trucks working here in Austria. A properly developed and managed shale well is far better for the environment than most energy options I can think of.
