The Coldest April in the Satellite Record over the Pacific Northwest

Oh finally they start telling us what we have been feeling for about 3 years now. The last 2 summers were exceptionally cool – a felt average of 3-5 degrees cooler actually. Thats substantial. I still have headlines from 2017 saved on my computer when Vienna touched 43 degrees Celsius. We have not had 40 degrees since 2019 again. And we have those newsitems from all over the world. So far, it was flat out denied that we are cooling. But there always is a point when reality becomes overwhelming. Are we there yet?

You knew it was colder than normal over the Pacific Northwest during April.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
