According to the American economist Hyman Minsky, there are 3 types of borrowers. The first two can pay back capital and interest or only interest but the 3rd type cannot pay any of both. This is the Ponzi borrower as they have no plan on how to pay investors back when they take the money. That is – except hope. We have seen our fair share of Ponzi borrowers and Musk won’t be the last of them. All throughout history humankind was attracted to the bling.
