The coming EV batteries will sweep away fossil fuel transport-AEP

I am born in 1969, the year when the first man walked on the Moon. No surprise I have been a space and technology freak ever since. It’s a bit like this was in my blood and I always liked grandiose projections of how our lives would be in 10, 20, or 50 years. Pretty little of what I read about actually came true. Where are the cities on the Moon, where personal jetpacks take me over the Atlantic or free energy? We have been hammered for more than a decade about the new battery that will resolve all the horrible issues that current batteries have. We have been promised many years ago that all issues would be ironed out. And it’s still a lab rat. Let’s look at it when it is market ready and forget about it until then.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
