The Generational Opportunity for U.S. LNG

Is the liquefaction of Natural Gas into LNG, its storage and transport over the oceans, and its eventual reception and regasification a complex industrial process? It sure is. Is it akin to magic? Far from it. The liquefaction of gases is a principle that has been known for more than 100 years – longer than anybody alive today. Industrial production and use of LNG itself is older than the overwhelming majority of people on this planet. And even the transoceanic transport of LNG is as old as the younger portion of retirees. LNG holds no mysteries for an LNG professional. We treat it with respect, as we would do with any volatile substance, but we are not in awe.
