Yes, while Europe pretends to go green and officially shuns anything that’s a fossil in nature, they still know that without their hated Natural gas and oil, the European energy scene would implode. And the Eastern Mediterranean might just be a very convenient new source of oil and gas. Not so fast though as especially Egypt and Turkey are pretty massive consumers of the stuff as well and their needs are only going to grow. Europe must develop its own energy options – and then whatever happens in the Eastern Med just happens. But then again – that’s Europe.
