Every technology has its challenges and drawbacks. I would dare to wager that wind turbines shred more wildlife by orders of magnitude than nuclear plants would endanger. Compared to the endless fields of solar panels, the deepest reaches of the Sahara desert must be teeming with life. And I don’t even want to start talking about the dumps where used batteries are discarded. Humans live on this planet and they will change it. Let’s have an adult discussion about it and not resort to fearmongering.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
