Some of those pipes are leftovers from the New Deal under FDR. They were past their safe operations date when I was a teenager. This makes it look like Natural gas is dangerous. When in reality its humans that are dangerous when they scupper any sensible attempt to keep things running.
At 10:40 a.m. on Monday, January 21st, a pipeline carrying natural gas ruptured in rural Noble County, in southeastern Ohio, producing a fireball that surged 120 feet into the air and engulfed the Noll family home, with 12-year-old son Nash inside.
