I have no doubt that the ECHR and other courts will give in to judicial activism and throw the rule of law to the curb. It’s the flavor of the day. Until legislators come in and counterbalance as they will when voters kick them to the curb. Judicial independence in Europe is a laughing matter. Courts are as aligned with the flavor of the day as politicians are. The old separation of power is a joke.
