The Importance of Pennsylvania’s Natural Gas
People have short memories. I still remember when the US was slated to become the biggest LNG importer on the planet. In the last 20 years, the price for Natural Gas has gone from around USD 20 per MMBtu to between USD 2 and 4 per MMBtu for many years now. The savings plus the increased competitiveness for the US alone have brought more economic power back to the US than the entire shale revolution had cost so far. And now, more and more unreliable energy need gas to mask their deficiencies.
