The Irrelevancy of Lynas ‘99.9 Percent Certainty Climate Change’ Consensus
There was once perfect consensus that the Sun circles around the Earth. There was also consensus that any speed above 40mph would be deadly to living things. There was consensus that diseases were caused by humors of the body and until quite recently there was consensus that there could be no organic matter if there was no life. Dwarf planet Pluto was assumed to be a featureless world and nobody really ever challenged that. The list of wrong consensus opinions is very long. What one can prove matters – and I am still waiting for fo that. Maybe that’s why consensus is needed.
