The New York Times Fails to Report….

Two-thirds don’t trust mainstream media. I think those numbers are not even reflecting the true disaster. There are two big camps – one does not trust the media choices of the other. But wait – there is more: there is the large camp of those that do not trust any mainstream source anymore, no matter what camp it panders to. Oh yes, there is even worse: there are such people that don’t trust any news media anymore, mainstream or alternative. I would fall into that camp. It’s a harsh place to be as anything we get comes with a bucketful of salt. But it’s the only sensible choice and I am by no means alone anymore. Welcome to the new no-trust world.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
