As a business developer, I have seen and written countless business plans. One problem I always had was when a boss or a customer wanted me to model out countless different scenarios. It’s running the numbers. It’s a worthwhile exercise if everyone is on the same page that there are variables that cannot be reliably gauged. And the more outlandish a plan is, the more revolutionary the technology is, the more fantastic things seem to be, the more conservative basic assumptions must be made. A business plan does not survive too much hyperbole very well. The Green Industrial Complex only knows hyperbole. That’s why they can only crash and burn.

The truth is out. An official report has admitted for the first time the scale of the cost of reaching net zero by 2050.
