The polar vortex is running wild—and it may not be because of climate change
Members of the Holy church of Climatology won’t agree. They have already decided that the Arctic cold could only have been caused by man made CO2 and that the science is settled. How can some random scientist – never mind their credentials – cast doubt on the ultimate truth as it has been proclaimed by the true believers? As the true experts say – it’s a chaotic system which means that any model you run on the Climate is an educated guess at best. True facts must withstand way more stringent testing.
As bitter cold and snow descended on the Midwest last week, a number of news outlets reported on a seemingly contradictory idea: that under climate change, these brief winter bursts of cold Arctic air could become more common in the continental United States.
