Just imagine – when you call one of those beasts your own you would most likely not want the black sot that comes with normal marine fuel. Sure, MGO is much nicer than HFO but it’s still diesel and those beasts spew out quite a cloud, to say the least. LNG enables the superrich to also look super-rich. How about that – LNG gives you better show-off credits.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
