It is almost comical how the angriest people on the planet have come up the easy way. There is a guy I know who inherited real estate wealth, and lots of money, and had everything falling into his lap. In Austria, we call it “Blowing sugar up ones behind”. And he is also one of the angriest people I know. Complaining about how unfair everything is. I come from very humble beginnings and there is hardly anyone complaining here. I lived in the Middle East for years and spent quite some time in the deep countryside with some of the most humble but happy people on Earth. And I also rubbed flesh with the elites there which could not stop ranting about anything. If reality does not bite you, you seem to look for replacement pain.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
