The Vilification Of Oil Producers Continues Apace At COP26
In the normal world, one would expect that oil producers will respond in kind when they are kicked in the groin. But they are not only “NOT RESPONDING IN KIND” – they even up the ante by singing their mortal enemies’ songs. Part of that is that managements today are very short termish. They don’t want to deal with the problem so they jump on anything, no matter how idiotic that allows them to kick the can down the road. Oil and gas companies’ top managements are their own worst enemies.
