‘The world has no chance of beating climate change if natural gas is part of the mix’
CO2 concentration in the air is measured in ppm. This means Parts Per Million. The current concentration is 400 ppm or 0,04% of the air you breathe. That’s less than half a milliliter compared to a liter. Now, methane concentration is a paradigm lower. It’s measured in ppb or parts per billion. Total methane in the air is less than 200 times less than CO2 which is already 0,04%. We are talking about the volume of the head of a needle pin per liter. And that’s the cause of global warming. Do those folks actually realize how incredibly ridiculous they are?
