Think Tank Suspects Blast Near Estonia-Finland Gas Pipeline

We have speculated about it for a long time and for the longest time most of us have just laughed at the prospect of pipeline terrorism organized by states. That’s the weakness of fixed lines of supply such as pipelines but also undersea cables and who knows what else keeps our civilization humming under the sea. Russia seems to have lost the ability to take territory in other countries but they sure still have the technological capability for this kind of thing. Bringing nations to their knees not through the force of arms but through the force of cutting them off from vital supplies. And that’s where lumpy matter like LNG excels. Hard to cut that off.

Norsar reported 'a probable explosion' near the Balticconnector, which has been shut due to a suspected leak.
