Three low-carbon projects get funding from UK
An honest headline would be “Three unreliable energy projects get taxpayer money from the UK”. The wording in this article suggests that this is something the market would want when the reality is far from that. Without shaking off taxpayers those contraptions would never get funded. And companies such as Equinor like those projects as they are no risk. All the risk is borne by the tax- and rate-payers. What’s worse than a public monopoly? A private one.
