Trader Super-Cycle Belief Has Been Dented
Yeah right – a supercycle again. I had a lot of work with quants – math wizards for trading. All they ever did was look for patterns in the evolution of market developments to help traders. I never really took the bait and always considered them no more than very expensive ladies throwing chicken bones in the air to read the markets. Trading is full of those types. Modeling is full of those types. They are everywhere and they pretend to know the working of the world when they can’t even predict tomorrow’s weather.
