They said that they perceive an FID with LNG propulsion as risky. Now, just about 8 years later I read from a representative of the cruise industry that an FID without LNG propulsion would be perceived as risky. No levy needed. LNG is unstoppable in shipping – and in many other domains. It just takes time to feel the change as those ships have a working life measured in many decades. But it’s coming strong.
