Trump looks to open up railroads for LNG shipments
This is going to be a sea change in NG transport. The volumes of one single block train are significant. Each carriage holds 100m3 LNG, a standard block train with 16 carriages is 1600m3 of LNG. That often makes the difference when you want to cover the morning peak for a large city. And as long as its on rails it’s as good as rolling storage that can be rerouted. A new definition for line-pack maybe?
