Trump has an opportunity to create a North American energy community. North America is different from other oil producers insofar as it also has a gigantic market on its home soil. A BAT would help domestic producers, preserve the market in North America and force the US oil industry to retool which means new investments and a much stronger fuels and refining sector over the longer term.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
