Turtles: Back to the Future!
30 years of traveling all parts of the globe have shown me a number of things. One is that the richer a country is, the better the environment tends to be. Rich countries invest money in saving species, recreate natural habitats, clean up the air, water and soil and create National Parks that deserve the name. Poor people must do what they can to survive – they have no mind for saving endangered species. This means that capitalism is the savior of our globe and socialism destroys nature as capitalism creates rich countries and socialism makes rich people poor. Free market capitalism is the true protector of the planet.
