U.S. posts first month in 70 years as a net petroleum exporter
Fun fact – in 2016 I was asked at a conference when I expected the US to be a net oil exporter. I thought that February 2022 would be a coll answer and I really thought that this could be a realistic timeframe. No matter what the real point in time would be, I was sure that it could not be before the 2020ies. Looks like even I had underestimated how powerful the shale drive would eventually turn out to be. Sweet.
