U.S. sanctions put pressure on Rosneft’s Venezuelan investment
For the moment, the fiction holds up. As long as there is only threat but no default yet, those billions are still assets. But one day Venezuela might decide that default is the logical next step in order to get rid of those debts. That will be interesting.
