Ukraine invasion sparks new interest in Guysborough LNG project
There has been a flurry of new (dusted off) projects over the last couple of weeks. Funny what happens when one of the biggest oil & gas producers becomes a risky position. But – most of those projects will amount to nothing. Politicians need to present stuff to concerned voters and they need to do it quickly so they will pick up whatever they can. No consideration is given to why this particular project went dormant in the first place. But if the war is over in a few weeks, Russia will go back to selling what they can and the world will buy. And the projects go away.
