Ukraine War Drives Up Cost of Wind, Solar Power
Producing the stuff that makes the wind and solar crowd tick is just one aspect of the cost stack those renewables present. Yes, cheap stuff made by slave laborers in China helped the warmist crowd claim that renewables are cheaper now than there were before. It’s a cheat but we wanted it so we let it slip. But the big boy in town is the fact that wind and solar are still unreliable energy. They don’t produce when we need them but when they want. This means we need backup and those two renewables never needed to pay for that. It has gotten more expensive too.
