Ukrainian Invasion of Kursk Creating Gas Price Volatility, BMI Warns

The invasion of Kursk won’t do that. The pipes go through Ukraine proper so if Ukraine had wanted to cut them off, it could have done so without this whole invasion easily. But the European partners won’t like that very much and Ukraine knows that so they won’t go there. It would be a very different thing if Russia reconquered the region and employed its usual tactics. Bomb everything until there is only rubble left and then meat wave them. Imagine they do that to the measuring station in the Kursk oblast. They would blow up the pipe with it and hence stop gas deliveries. That would be shrewd.
