Unelected climate advisers attack Boris Johnson for putting COP26 at risk
I have a feeling that the vast majority of Boris’s voters at the last election would never have voted for him had they known how woke he would become. It’s normal that pressure groups and activists exert some influence on governments. But they should not run them but that’s exactly what happens in many countries. Where are voters supposed to go next when all political parties have jumped on the same minority train? Where is the silent majority going to turn? We need reasonable alternatives in many countries.
