Updated Hydrogen Costings

Ahh, green hydrogen is very, very expensive. And it’s getting more expensive still. Guess what Buster – producing the stuff is not even the big whammy. Storage and transport are. Hydrogen is a nasty molecule and does not like to be alone. That makes it super-reactive which also means very explosive but there is worse. Hydrogen also makes pretty much any metal brittle. So, it is either bound to something that tames it or you have a containment horror at your hands. Have fun.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
