Sure it is a problem – but then again it’s a perfect opportunity for US LNG producers to get their house in order, their act together and shape up. LNG production has issues such as comparatively still pretty high cost. I love an American entrepreneur in a corner They tend to fight like hell to get out and by doing so set new, better standards. This situation is not easy for LNG producers – but it might be their longterm salvation.
The natural gas market is emerging from winter relatively unscathed despite potentially disruptive Chinese tariffs on U.S. gas. But the ongoing trade dispute is still putting a chill on cooperation between the two energy powerhouses and threatens to sideline billions in investment.
