US to issue further methane regulation

We essentially have no idea what the methane exchange of the world is. Methane is incredibly thin in the air. It’s beyond a trace element. If you think about it, Argon, the most abundant trace element in the air is 9340ppm. CO2 is truly rare and makes up about 420 ppm, about 20 times less than an element thats less than 1%. Methane, on the other hand, is 1,7ppm, about 6000 times less abundant than an element that makes up less than 1% of our atmosphere. When you pass wind you contribute to that 1,7ppm. The canalization of cities is a huge source, and so are wetlands. And the seas. Saving a resource is a good thing, but chasing the almost non-existent is not.
