Vaca Muerta shale boom could propel Argentina to top 3 of region’s producers

South America, especially its southern tip like the southern portions of Brazil and Argentina itself is famously isolated bits of the planet. Large bodies of water on either side but unlike North America, there is little on the southern half of the planet thats worthwhile as a market. A lot of water for sure and the interesting bits are small markets, far and few in between. So it makes sense to keep exports regional and it just so happens that the market to the north, Brazil, is an importer of energy. Argentinian industry could use an injection of cheap, clean energy as well. Argentina should develop what it has at its doorstep. The end of globalism just pours Viagra on this concept.
