I have seen a lot of this world in my life, lots of different cultures and people and I am certainly no stranger to quirks and peculiarities. Heck, I have an autistic son and he is so far off the mainstream, it’s like having a half-alien in the house. But some of the beliefs some people that don’t have to worry about financial security still puzzle me. The mind always needs stimulation and if there are no fundamental challenges to grapple with, the mind will find artificial ones. All fine to me but don’t sell it as eternal bliss for all of us. Most people have life and its issues to deal with.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
